Waiting

I am waiting now for the final paperwork to be approved so I can start school. This is a time to be patient and learn as much as I can about the new systems, software, and hardware that I will be using to get my degree.

Full Sail University uses a unique web portal built specifically for the MacBook Pro computers that every student uses while enrolled. These computers are new to me having always used a PC. Because of this I have spent a considerable amount of time on Apple's video tutorial site Find Out How, learning about the computers and their software.

At Full Sail University they have a Test Drive section where you can learn about the online student web portal. There is a lot of information to help you familiarize yourself with the way things work through the system. They have built this system to keep you connected to your fellow students and your teachers.

Finally the software package Adobe CS5 Master Collection will be a big part of my education. Some of the software in the package I have used before and some of it I haven't. I've spent some time at Adobe TV getting to know the software that I haven't used before so I am at least familiar with what it does. It has been cool watching movies about all this stuff and I am excited to get my hands on it and start using it.

I am, however, waiting patiently until that time, while being productive at the same time.
